MUSEUM QUALITY Fine Art Giclée PRINTING SERVICES

The Epson Stylus Pro 11880 64" Printer in my California Studio. Graham Editions is a Fine Art Printmaking studio that utilizes state-of-the-art printing technology. I produce fine art giclée pigment prints. The name Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is derived from the French verb gicler meaning 'to squirt'. A Giclée print is a high-resolution, archival quality digital print produced by the ink-jet process and is a recognized fine art printmaking method just like lithographs and serigraphs. Giclée prints render deep saturated colors and retain minute detail, subtle tints and blends.

I personally fine tune each print prior to printing through the ImagePrint RIP on the Epson Stylus Pro 11880 64" and Epson Stylus Pro 9800 44" inkjet printers with Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. Printing through the RIP software further enhances the quality of the prints, making maximum use of the very wide colour gamut and neutral greys to produce stunning prints on both Gloss and Matte media. The prints produced by these printers are stunningly beautiful and reach museum perfection.

Color Matching : Color Management is a key component for color consistency. At Graham Editions, I personally make my custom printer and camera profiles, using the Gretagmacbeth iOne Pro Spectrophotometer, and ProfileMaker Pro to fine tune the profiles. My in-house color profiles are based on over 2,000 unique color sample points specific to my equipment providing a much more accurate color match to your art. I use custom printer ICC profiles to ensure accurate, and consistent color on every print.

My studio is equipped with D50 lighting for proofing, resulting in accurate color reproduction. With a full Digital and Color Managed Enviroment I can supply my clients with practically every sort of Digitally Printed Output that may be required, including Museum Quality Fine Art Giclée Printing.

FINE DIGITAL PRINTMAKING PAPERS

My list of fine digital printmaking papers and canvases used at Graham Editions.

Fine Photo Papers.

Epson Professional Photo Papers: Epson Premium Gloss and Luster are made to give the highest resolution and color saturation possible. These papers are very bright white. Gloss produces the cleanest, sharpest reproductions with the widest color range but are quite reflective. Luster is the most popular paper with photographers; it has a very slight visible texture and sheen and is much less reflective than Gloss paper with the same wide color range.

LexJet Sunset Photo Gloss 300g : This paper answers photographers requests for a heavier, more substantial high-gloss photo paper, with excellent ink retention characteristics, and an expansive color gamut. This paper maintains a traditional, smooth, high-gloss finish, and is both water and scratch-resistant.

Fine Art Papers.

Somerset Velvet for Epson - 505g sheets: The finest bright white 100% cotton Rag watercolor paper, this thick plush paper is produced in England and can be hand torn for a beautiful, deckled edge. Museum Quality Appearance.

It is available in a 285g microporous high gloss coated surface with a special acid inhibiting layer, with outstanding Dmax that gives prints the depth and detail in the blacks, thus making it the perfect inkjet alternative. It is designed for fine photographic reproduction of the highest quality.

Museo Silver Rag 300g : Extraordinary depth and detail, fiber-based semi-gloss finish photo paper brings out the best in B&W and color images, and delivers high Dmax and superior tonal range.
